Add a company in ubiDOCS database

ubiDOCS company database

There is an internal SHARED company database in ubiDOCS.

Any end user can enrich the system with entering new companies that are shared amongst ALL ubiDOCS users.

It is there fore very important to enter valid information.

Please refer to the CBE website to find the right details about an existing company or establishment.

The OVAM has define the “Identification number” as the enterprise number (= VAT) or establishment unit number for Belgian companies.

Refer to VIES for foreign companies to find the right details about an existing company.

The OVAM has define the “Identification number” as the VAT number without country code for foreign companies.

A search is performed on the company:

Name
VAT number (exact match without country code – see European Union VAT identification numbers)
Identification number (see above)

Create a new entry by filling in the form.

Make sure you enter the right information in the form as it will be shared with other users!

Refer to CBE for Belgian companies and VIES for foreign companies.
Don’t forget to enter the email address in contact section in order to share the transport document at the end of the process with all parties.
