Several systems for delivering digital identification forms have been approved by the OVAM.
Legally, there must be interoperability between these different systems.
The administrator of the system is responsible for this.
OVAM imposes a data exchange format and a set of mandatory fields.

Interoperability (IOP)? What does IOP stand for?
IOP means that digital documents created by other systems can be received and processed by ubiDOCS in a single interface.
Why choose ubiDOCS?
- Our team has amply proven its skills and won the trust of customers of all sizes in the logistics and transportation sector.
- Since the start of our discussions with OVAM, we have defended the position of transporters and the fact that it is not sustainable to have to use different mobile applications to carry out transportation for different IHMers who have opted for different digital solutions.
- We have developed the OVAM approach by asking pertinent questions based on our understanding of the needs of the people in the field, namely drivers and dispatchers.
- We strive to develop our solution based on your feedback and your needs to make it as simple as possible to save you time and increase efficiency.
- The basic digital solution is 100% free for carriers and processors.
Your drivers receive all transport orders in ubiDOCS and no longer have to juggle different mobile applications.
- As a carrier & processor, you can generate documents in ubiDOCS that are validated and signed by the collectors.
Specifically?
To be able to process documents from other systems in ubiDOCS, you must connect to IRIS and select the systems from which you want to receive data.
If you are a carrier or processor and you want to use ubiDOCS to manage all your transportation documents, you must
- sign a user agreement with ubidata
- indicate in IRIS that you use ubiDOCS to manage your transportation documents
When does it start?
Currently, no forms are being sent via IOP.
The Public Waste Agency of Flanders (OVAM) advises you to connect to IRIS as soon as possible and to check/change your data so that you can benefit from interoperability as soon as the IOP is active.
According to the OVAM, the IOP will go live in May2025.
Attention!
You can decide not to connect to IRIS.
You must then continue to modify the form in the system chosen by the organization responsible for creating it (the COLLECTOR).
You will receive a copy of the document by e-mail using the old method.
