ubiDOCS – Waste transport – cross-border transport

We invite you to consult the legislation in force in your region.

In any case, you must submit a document of type ANNEX VII when transferring waste.

This Annex VII is a standard transport document included in the European Regulation 1013/2006/EC.
You can find it in EurLex (the European Official Journal) in the different languages:

This legislation says in the Article 18 that the Annex VII is signed by the person who arranges the shipment.

Annex VII is completed and signed prior to the shipment by either the waste producer making its own arrangements for the shipment or the dealer.

What should Annex VII contain?

This is a contract between the organizer and the recipient and must contain the following information:

  • identification of the parties involved (organizer, importer, shipper(s), producer, recovery facility)
  • type, description and codes of the waste
  • quantity
  • date
  • recovery operation (R code)
  • countries involved
  • signatures
